Hard work and high aspirations should be enough to succeed in our country, but unfortunately the rising cost of higher education is making it more difficult.
In the next legislative session I will fight to ensure all hard-working Texans have an opportunity to go to college, but parents, grandparents, students, teachers and others would also be wise to learn more about how to pay for school in these difficult times.
